Residential Concierge: beyond the five-star service of a hotel

If we take a closer look at the luxury scene, we can see that there is an increasing number of hotels offering villa services. Why is this happening? Because guests prefer residences and/or homes… but with the services and comforts provided by a hotel.

Now comes the second part, which is the point we really want to put across… A new situation has arisen: a hotel concierge is not specialised in the type of services offered by luxury residences.

Therefore, agencies such as Alberta La Grup, and of course, Residential Concierge, take care of this kind of specialised role. In fact, one of our agency’s projects is, as part of The Lifestyle Institute’s Postgraduate course, to offer training in this area and teach a course aimed specifically at training Concierges, with the help of one of our prestigious lecturers.

So what are the services offered by this fundamental figure in the era of Branded Residences? At Alberta La Grup, the role of a Residential Concierge is focused on making the client’s life easier, welcoming them with open arms, with absolute discretion, and of course, everything impeccably organised. With a multitasking team, fluent in several languages and always attentive to the needs of the owners and residents, with the aim of offering more than just a five-star hotel service. It is more than that: it is about having all the facilities of a hotel but feeling at home.

The reception team is available 365 days a year – always friendly and interacting face to face with each resident, attending to their requests immediately and confidentially –  from cleaning to getting the property ready for their arrival, and even organising their leisure and entertainment activities.

The team of Concierge and Lifestyle Managers are also ‘behind the scenes’, in order to provide the front desk professionals with information and support on tasks so that they are carried out in the most efficient way to achieve a more than optimal result. The resident is satisfied and, above all: happy, because they feel at home and have all the requirements at their fingertips.

 

In short: Smart Living and Urban Lifestyle combine to create extraordinary services. Something new, unique… and what we could consider to be the immediate (and increasingly present) future of Concierge services.

La figura del Residential Concierge: más allá del servicio cinco estrellas de un hotel

 

Si nos adentramos en el escenario del lujo vemos que cada vez hay mayor auge de hoteles que ofrecen el servicio de villas. ¿A qué se debe esta circunstancia? A que los huéspedes prefieren residencias y/o viviendas en lugar de hoteles… Eso sí, contando -a su vez- con los servicios y comodidades que proporciona un hotel.

Y ahora viene la segunda parte, que es lo que verdaderamente queremos transmitir… Se presenta una nueva situación: la figura del Concierge de hotel propiamente dicha no está especializada en el tipo de servicios que ofrecen esta clase de residencias de lujo.

Por lo tanto, en la gestión de estas funciones entran agencias como Alberta La Grup, y por supuesto, la figura del Residential Concierge. De hecho, uno de los proyectos nuestra agencia es, dentro del Postgrado de The Lifestyle Institute, ofrecer formación en ello. Es decir, impartir un curso dirigido a instruir específicamente a los Concierge, de la mano de uno de nuestros prestigiosos lecturers.

 

¿Y cómo son los servicios que ofrece esta figura fundamental en la era de las Branded Residences? Desde Alberta La Grup, las funciones de un Residential Concierge se centrar en facilitar la vida del cliente, recibiéndolos con los brazos abiertos, con absoluta discreción, y por supuesto, todo impecablemente organizado. Con un equipo multitask, con dominio de diversos idiomas y siempre atentos a las necesidades de los propietarios y residentes, con el objetivo de ofrecer algo más que un servicio de hotel cinco estrellas. Un trabajo constante los 365 días del año, que lo conforman desde el equipo de recepción -siempre amable e interactuando cara a cara con cada residente atendiendo sus peticiones de inmediato y de manera confidencial- hasta la limpieza para dejar lista la vivienda a su llegada, e incluso organizar su ocio y entretenimiento.

Y el equipo de Concierge y Gestores del estilo de vida también se encuentra ‘entre bastidores’ , para ser la pieza del puzzle perfecta para los profesionales de recepción, otorgándoles información y apoyo en las tareas, de modo que se realicen de la manera más eficaz logrando un resultado más que óptimo. Y el residente queda satisfecho y, por encima de todo: feliz, pues se encuentra como en casa y con todos los requerimientos a su alcance.

 

En resumen: el concepto de Smart Living y Urban Lifestyle se aúnan para dar lugar a unos servicios extraordinarios. Algo nuevo, único… y en definitiva, el futuro inmediato (y cada vez más presente) de los servicios de Concierge.
